Terms of Use

These terms apply to everyone who uses UKIBS Artists (ukbeautyacademy.in), run by UK International London Beauty School (“UKIBS”, “we”). By using the site, or by signing the portfolio form, you agree to them.

1. The service

UKIBS Artists gives UKIBS students and graduates a free portfolio website at ukbeautyacademy.in/their-name, a listing in our artist directory and a certificate check. The service is free. We may add, change or stop features at any time.

2. Your portfolio account

  • Portfolios are created by academy staff from the form you fill at a branch. The details you give must be true and your own.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what is posted from your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
  • Your web address (e.g. /your-name) is given for your use but remains part of our site; we may change it if it is misleading or confusing.

3. Photos & content you add

You keep ownership of your photos and text. By uploading them you:

  • confirm that you created the work shown (or clearly say if it was a team or class project);
  • confirm that you own the photo or have permission to use it, and that every client shown has agreed to it being published online;
  • give UKIBS a free, non-exclusive licence to host and display the content on this platform and to show your portfolio when promoting it. We will not sell your photos.

Please do not post:

  • other artists' work, stock images or heavily filtered photos presented as your real results;
  • nudity, offensive, hateful, political or misleading content;
  • false claims, fake certificates or reviews, or prices you do not honour;
  • other people's personal details without their permission.

4. Moderation, suspension & removal

To keep the platform trustworthy, the academy reviews every photo before it goes live and may edit, reject or remove any content. We may suspend or remove a portfolio — with or without notice — if these terms are broken, if we receive a genuine complaint, if a certificate is found to be invalid, or if required by law. Where reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem.

5. Certificates & the verified badge

The “Certified by UKIBS” badge and the verify page only confirm that the academy issued the listed certificate. Certificates from other institutes that artists add themselves are shown as provided and are not verified by us.

6. For clients & visitors

  • Artists on this site are independent professionals, not employees or agents of UKIBS. Any booking is a direct agreement between you and the artist.
  • Prices shown are the artist's own estimates; always confirm the final price, products, date and any advance directly with the artist.
  • UKIBS is not responsible for the quality, safety, timing or payment of services booked through this site, but we do take complaints seriously — please tell us about any bad experience.
  • Do not use the enquiry form to send spam, abuse or anything other than genuine booking enquiries.

7. Fair use of the site

Do not copy the directory in bulk, scrape artist contact details, try to break or overload the site, or pretend to be someone else.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or online. To the extent the law allows, UKIBS is not liable for indirect losses, lost bookings or disputes between artists and clients.

9. Leaving the platform

You can ask us to take your portfolio offline or delete it at any time — see the Privacy Policy for how. Your personal data is handled as described there.

10. Law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We may update them from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
